Our mission
Working closely with families and guardians
The mission of Ability Care Services is to provide high quality of care to our individuals with Love, Dignity and Respect in their daily activities and needs, by working very closely with their families and guardians. We will make sure that they are involved in community activities as much as possible.
Our vision
How Ability Care Services began
The vision of Ability Care Services started in 2003, when founder Mamadou Talibe Bah began working at Columbus Center for Human Services (CCHS) as a direct care assistant — a role he held for seven years. The same year he earned his bachelor's degree from DeVry University, and he recognised the need in this field.
After leaving CCHS and obtaining an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management in 2010, Mr. Bah still remembered that need. With seventeen years of work experience in the management of a primary care doctor's office billing department, added to seven years as a direct care assistant, he decided to create ACS to render quality services to the people most in need in this field.
Our success depends on the quality of services delivered to those in need, in the company of all the respect and dignity they deserve. Our device is the three letters LDR — Love, Dignity, Respect — the guideline for all of our employees whenever they are in contact with the individuals in their care.
Our commitment
Standard and excellent service in every home
Ability Care Services is committed to establishing and serving standard, excellent services in the homes we serve or will serve. We provide high quality services through complete training of our caregivers. Our individuals are assisted with the highest level of independence in their homes and while they are in the community — we have the responsibility to help them be independent, with Love, Dignity and Respect.

Qualified, screened and continuously trained
ACS has qualified and highly trained people who apply their knowledge in the field as skilled direct care assistants. They are passionate about fulfilling their tasks as needed. Multiple background checks are completed before the first day of work, to ensure the safety and security of the individuals we serve, their family members and our other employees. Training is an ongoing programme for everyone on the team.
Our team of home care professionals and paraprofessionals are incredibly passionate about helping the elderly and disabled members of our community live happy and fulfilling lives at home. They undergo extensive screening and regular training and seminars, so they are better equipped to serve clients. If that sounds like work you would do well, see our caregiver jobs in Columbus.
